Hi, I'm Sam and I am a natural light portrait photographer. Before photography, I was an early childhood teacher for many years. It was during those moments of photographing children at play, that my love of photography started. I love photographing genuine moments of love and laughter between loved ones. My style combines natural subtle poses and spontaneous unpoised moments and my aim is to collaborate with you to achieve photos you will cherish for a lifetime.

Mini sessions are perfect for families with busy lifestyles. Whilst the time is reduced, nothing else is. It’s half an hour of fun! Mini-sessions are a convenient, affordable, and delightful option. They are wonderful for families who maybe aren’t ready to commit to full sessions just yet or for families wanting a quick refresh of photos. It's the ideal amount for those little ones with short attention spans or loads of energy! It can be easier to get people together for a shorter period of time, especially if they shy away from having their photos taken. These sessions are not suitable for large or extended families.

These full hour sessions are a wonderful idea for larger families who would like a variety. Whether it's variety in the environment or even a small outfit change, if you like a wide selection of images, then a full session is definitely for you. Often these longer shoots allow for more candid moments between loved ones, especially for those who feel shy or awkward in front of the camera. I recommend a longer session for clients who feel this way about photos because the extra time allowed for full sessions allows the photographer to help you relax and be yourself. With more time, you and your loved ones are able to soak up the time together and relax that much more, which in turn brings out the best connections and natural smiles.

As a wedding photographer in Western Australia, we travel through country WA and up and down the coastline.
